Lighthouse Point 3D Screensaver – Explore a Lighthouse, Listen to Music
This 3PlaneSoft-developed application is very much similar to Ancient Castle 3D Screensaver. Just like the Ancient Castle, Lighthouse Point focuses on a specific location – in this case a lighthouse on a stretch of land surrounded by a lot of water. The camera moves around, showing you various aspects of the lighthouse, the water, the sky.
The graphics are accompanied by music. While displaying the lighthouse, Lighthouse Point 3D Screensaver will play music in the background. There will be times when you will not want to listen to this music. To mute it, you can simply press the M key on the keyboard while Lighthouse Point 3D Screensaver is running.
If you want to take things one step further, you can go to the Settings window. You can do two things in the Settings window:
1 – Disable the music altogether.
2 – Create a playlist from your own tracks and have Lighthouse Point 3D Screensaver play those tracks while it is running.
Before you get this application and put it to the test, take a look at the technical details presented below:

Installation – at the time of writing this, support is provided for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit editions). During the installation process you can choose between these languages: English, German, French and Russian.
During the installation process you are asked to install the 3Planesoft Screensaver Manager. This manager provides information about your currently installed 3PlaneSoft screensaver and about other screensaver 3PlaneSoft has to offer. The manager allows you to access the settings of all the 3PlaneSoft screensavers installed on your system. It also comes with a feature to automatically change the screensaver after a specific amount of time, or to display a different screensaver each time the computer goes idle. This manager is quite useful if you have more than one 3PlaneSoft screensaver.
Limitations – a nag screen will appear after 90 seconds when using the trial version. To get rid of this nag screen you have to purchase a license.
